For over 16 years (and counting), we have had the privilege of leading Kids Ministry at The Father's House Church. Every weekend we are in the rooms, leading teams, solving real problems, casting vision, building systems, discipling volunteers, and partnering with families.

Kids Ministry Plus was not created from the outside looking in. It was born out of our real, everyday, Kids Ministry experience.

This Calling Is Personal for Us

Heather grew up in kids ministry. Her mom and dad were the first and only other Children’s Pastor at our church before her. This is not just a job. It is part of her story and legacy.

Peter grew up serving in kids ministry and went through our church’s internship program. He was shaped and developed in the very ministry he now leads.

We met serving together on the worship team and working in kids and youth ministry side by side. Now we have two amazing children who do ministry with us each weekend. Kids Ministry has never been what we do... it's always been who we are. 

We Have Seen Every Season

We know what it feels like to:

• Set up and tear down in a portable environment

• Build teams when you barely have enough volunteers

• Stretch a small budget and pray for God to multiply it

• Lead through growth, change, and expansion

• Navigate the complexity of a large, multi site church

We have lived the small church season.
We have lived the growth season.
We are living the large ministry season.

Longevity gives you perspective. It builds resilience. It allows you to see fruit that only comes with time. It deepens your love for the Church and for the families you serve.

There is nothing “junior” about what God does in the hearts of kids. The Holy Spirit moves in them with power. We have seen it over and over again.
